In the Pools, participants are divided into three or four fighters per group, who compete with one another in order to determine who will enter the Single-elimination rounds. These groups are formed by the organizers by drawing lots. At the end of the bouts in all the Pools, a Pool ranking is drafted as provided by the remaining scores / win or lose / double hit penalty / clean hit bonus.

In the Elimination rounds, if it have an even number of fighters, then all remaining matches in the tournament will take place in a single elimination format. Otherwise, if there is an odd number of fighters, the tournament will be conducted in single elimination format until only three fighters are left. Then, the final ranking will be determined by scoring points in a Round-Robin format.

The Bingwu Cup competition system is a point deduction system.
